My first outing on my new (but very old) Gaisford surf ski. I only got it becasue I used to use them on the beaches when I worked as a lifeguard in N. Devon. I was actually after a rescue paddle board, but the ski caught my eye as well.

Anyway, I never was any good on the ski, and that hasn't changed with 'maturity'. It was still really nice paddling around on the calm waters. It didn't take me long to get to grips with it again and after a few dunkings I was doing OK and started playing in the waves, catching the little swells and riding them to the beach... It was a nice way to cool off after a hard day at work too.

Can't wait to get my balance a bit more on it and go off on an adventure!!!
